At Generations of Neighbors Nursing Home, the Forrest City Nurse Honor Guard held a touching bedside pinning ceremony to recognize one of Serenity’s patients for her years of dedicated nursing service. Surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, she was honored by six fellow nurses who invited the family to reflect on her legacy of care.
She was presented with a rose, a certificate, a pin, and a soft blanket symbolizing her nursing cape. From working in hospitals and nursing homesβand especially cherishing her time in pediatricsβher commitment to caring for others never wavered.
