Serenity Hospice and Home is seeking to hire a part-time or full-time Store Associate for our Dixon, IL location. 

The ideal candidate would be mission driven, understanding that every sale supports the work of Serenity Hospice, specifically our integrative therapies, including art, music, and massage.

We have a fast paced environment, where there is always something to be done!

Job Duties

· Process donations (unload vehicles, sort & price items, place on display)
· Load and carry clothing bale bags (40-50lbs)
· Routinely deposit trash bags and other items into dumpster
· Interact with customers and volunteers
· Operate cash register
· Reconcile daily receipts and make bank deposit

Requirements

· HS Diploma or GED
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
· Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical exam
