Oregon Girls Soccer Team Plants Flowers at Serenity

The Oregon High School Girls Soccer team chose planting flowers at Serenity Hospice & Home as their service project this year.  “As a team it’s important to work together on the field and it’s important to work together in our community to make it a better place,” said team Captain Alyssa Theisen.  Serenity Hospice is a nonprofit hospice with a home in Oregon.  They have eleven acres of beautiful land and a memorial garden.  The flowers were planted in and around the memorial gardens and gazebo which also includes a Veterans Memorial Walkway.  Back row, left-right: Amber Bennet, Gabi Scott, Dylan Burke, Maddie Byerley, Holly Handschuh, Alyssa Theisen (All-Conference), Reese Theisen.  Front row left-right: Katelyn Byerley (All-Conference), Hannah Donaldson (All-Conference), Leah Watters (All-Conference).
