A group of Serenity volunteers regularly gathers to share their love of reading as part of our volunteer book club, and recently they had the opportunity to enjoy a truly special experience!

The group gathered at @The Village Bakery to discuss 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘏𝘪𝘮 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘔𝘢𝘯 and meet the locally connected author, Beth George, who writes under the pen name Georgia Lovett. The book takes readers on the journey of a missionary in Papua New Guinea, weaving together an intriguing family dynamic, alternating timelines, and drama reaching back to the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Our book club members enjoyed thoughtful conversation with Beth, book signings, special bookmarks, and, most importantly, a wonderful time together!
