Dawn Pregont, LSW (Licensed Social Worker) from Serenity Hospice & Home, leads a monthly caregiver support group at the Rock River Center in Oregon, IL.

Being a caregiver for a loved one can be challenging, emotional, and overwhelming. Join our confidential group, and we support you in your caregiving role by:

• Discussing challenges and successes without judgment
• Teaching you how to manage responsibilities and emotions
• Exchanging experiences and coping strategies
• Providing emotional support, reassurance, and practical advice from trained facilitators & peers
• Providing self-care recommendations.

We welcome those new to caregiving, those who anticipate caregiving, and those for whom caregiving is already a way of life. You will find information, resources, encouragement & answers to difficult questions.

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Rock River Center. Stop by to Visit and listen, OR Share if you like.
