CAREGIVER RETREAT
Being a caregiver is one of the most meaningful and most demanding roles.
If you’re actively caring for a loved one or know someone who is, this invitation is for you to join us for our Caregiver Retreat on Friday, October 16, from 9:00–11:30 a.m. at Loveland Community House in Dixon (513 West Second Street, Dixon, IL).
This retreat is designed specifically for those who provide ongoing care to a family member or friend. We created this as a shortened morning retreat as we recognize how challenging it can be to schedule events. The goals of the retreat:
- Discover new ways to care for both others and yourself
- Learn about valuable caregiving resources
- Connect with others who understand the caregiving journey
- Enjoy a brief but meaningful time of respite and renewal
Spaces are limited to provide the most impactful experience for participants.
Whether you’ve been a caregiver for years or have recently stepped into this role, we hope you’ll join us for a morning of encouragement, support, and connection.
This event is made possible by the generous support of United Way of Lee County, the Lee County Services for Senior Citizens, and Serenity Hospice and Home. Serenity Support Services is excited to offer this meaningful experience to caregivers throughout our community.
