We had a tremendous time celebrating 40 years of service, from one county in 1984 to nine counties in Illinois today. Serenity has been blessed with providing compassionate and dignified care at the end of life and we thank you for letting us serve you.

Highlights from the open house on July 26 included:

• Massage therapy with our Integrated Therapist Manager, Cori Gale.
• Garden fellowship with beautiful weather.
• Music from our music therapist, K-Rae Knowles.
• Virtual reality demonstrations and Veteran care information from Richard and Pr. Willie.
• Comfort care from Hannah and therapy dog, Ruger.
• Tours of the Serenity Home.
• Great service and smiles from volunteers and staff.
