Serenity Hospice and Home is a not for profit, “free standing” organization. A Board of Directors has a fiduciary responsibility to the hospice organization and to the community. Board members represent all areas of the county. For a list of Board Members, select Board of Directors from the drop down list under About Serenity Hospice.
We are licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to promote Comprehensive Hospice Care and to operate a Hospice Residence. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Hospice care is available to all who are in need: children, adults, and the elderly. In July 2016, Serenity Hospice & Home was accredited by The Joint Commission.
Serenity Hospice and Home does not discriminate in the delivery of services on the basis of sex, age, marital status, handicap, sexual preference, race, national origin, or religion.
